*******What a beautiful song and awesome video!!!  I first heard “God’s Not Dead” by the Newsboys on the MySpace music player (I guess MySpace isn’t dead either) and I thought it was really good…then I saw the video.  I actually teared up as I watched the band members and different people read messages about God being dead.  I was filled with strength as I watched them all dismiss and respond to the messages.  They let people know through their song and by responding to tweets, blog posts, newsfeeds and videos that God is not dead.  I had to remind my boys recently that God does exist and there is no way life would be as complex as it is without a creator.  When I think of the process of life from conception to death, it’s impossible for me to believe the process came from nothing.  God exists and I see evidence of His existence everywhere I lay my eyes.*******

*******Whoa.  What an amazing video and performance by Jill Scott!  ”Hear My Call” hit me so hard I couldn’t help but to cry along with her.  I, like countless others, have been burned by love and my, oh my does it hurts so bad, just as Jill expresses in this song.  I had to post both the official video and her live performance because they are both so moving, I had to share them with you all.  I, too, cried out to God for help and healing from heartbreak.  I forced myself to turn cold in order to not ever hurt again.  I am now softening my heart because I know every man doesn’t want to hurt me, I just chose the wrong ones.  This time, I will make sure that never happens again.  Whomever I end up with will be my friend first and I must know him inside and out before I even think about entering into a relationship with him.  Older, wiser, ready for love.  :)*******

*******I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this live version of “Busted Heart (Hold On To Me)”.  They really blew me away by using instruments not normally used today.  A xylophone?!  Awesome.  This is a great song the vast majority of us can relate to.  When your heart is broken, it literally feels like you are falling apart and to be be comforted is  usually one of the top three things needed to go on.  I vowed last year to never let my heart get broken again.  Although, I really can’t keep it from happening again without a shadow of a doubt, at least I know how to best prevent it and who to turn to if it does.*******
