Motivational Quote Of The Day – 28 Feb 2012 – Plato – Sing A Song Of Love

Image via Wikipedia
Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet. - Plato
*******It’s amazing how many love songs and poems that have been written. They are sung by many, copied by thousands and recited by more. Even as children we are affected by love. It only intensifies with more understanding as we age. Loving and losing is usually identified as heartbreak. Heartbreak feels just so. It literally feels like your heart has been broken in two. The saying “…died from a broken heart” has been proven. It sounds crazy, but I read the story of a mother who died of a myocardial infarction the day after receiving news her son had died at war. You can read more about this subject here http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-living/really-die-broken-heart-study-175000128.html. For those that are in love, they soon become poets and songwriters. Love sparks this creativity that never existed in a person prior to falling in love with a particular person. People sing, hum and speak words of love. It is a glorious feeling indeed which is why some of the most famous songs and poems are written about love. I, too, have written many a song and poem regarding the object of my affection. I have also written some heartbreak songs and poems and believe you me, I prefer the former. I hope to write and sing many more songs, poems and stories about love and I wish you all the best in regards to your hearts desire.

“The moment you commit and quit holding back, all sorts of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, will rise up to help you. The simple act of commitment is a powerful magnet for help.”
Napoleon Hill
1883-1970, Author of Think And Grow Rich
*******Is there something you would like to do or have, but just cannot bring yourself to commit to it fully? How about your New Year’s resolutions? Going to the gym three times a week, eliminating bad carbs from your diet, not eating fast food, quitting smoking–the list is endless. I have decided to not make any resolutions this year because I have been known to break them fairly quickly in the past. This year I am committing myself to making my body, mind, spirit, life, career, finances and relationships the best they can possibly be. I pledge to do the best I can at all times, with all things and with every person I have/need/want to. This way I feel less pressure from a goal oriented resolution and end up feel like a failure when I don’t accomplish it. By no means am I going easy on myself, I just know what’s best for me. What are you committing yourself to?*******

“In a disordered mind, as in a disordered body, soundness of health is impossible.”
—Marcus Tullius Cicero: was a ancient Roman philosopher and politician
*******If you have a mental disorder, the only way you will have good mental health is by taking herbal supplements, prescribed medication or a combination of one of the aforementioned and therapy. If you have a mental disorder, seek help and seek remedies. It is impossible to have a life of good quality if you do not. I was raised by a mother that fortunately taught me many ways to take care of myself naturally. I drink ginger tea if I have an upset stomach. I chew raw garlic if I feel under the weather (I do brush my teeth afterwards so as not to knock anyone out with the power of my breath lol). I do this because it is a fact prescribed medications are derived from herbs. For every disease or disorder, there is a plant that will cure it or minimize the symptoms without harsh side effects. If you or someone you know has/have a mental disorder, I urge you to seek treatment as soon as possible so you can improve your quality of life. Take care.*******

“You must find the place inside yourself where nothing is impossible.”
— Deepak Chopra: is an authority in the field of mind-body healing
*******The only way you will find the guts to do what you really want to do, is to go deep inside yourself. Once you do this, you will find that place that is super confident and doesn’t care about obstacles, oppositions, failures or what others may think.*******

*******Oh my! This is EXACTLY why I love Deepak Chopra!!! He has been very influential during my process of self-creation. I have put in a lot of hard work in creating the person I am today. Ever since I read The Path To Love by Deepak Chopra and saw him on The Oprah Winfrey Show, I was hooked. Deepak is brilliant and very intuitive. He understands the human psyche and emotions better than anyone I’ve ever come across. If you are unaware of Deepak’s great influence, you can visit his site by clicking on his name above. Here’s to our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health!!!*******
