Tank – I Can’t Make You Love Me [Official Music Video] – YouTube
*******Tank. ”I Can’t Make You Love Me” originally sung by Bonnie Raitt. Best. Rendition. Yet. The new Brian McKnight? You decide, but I’m hooked. I’ve played this song 5 times already. It’s simply beautiful. Nuff said, right?*******
*******Boy, did I just have a SERIOUS moment with this song!!! I’ve had one of those days that MUST go down in history. But now…I’M WIDE AWAKE. I spent so much time trying to force something that could not be unless I sacrificed more than I was willing to, that I nearly lost sight of my goal. Accomplishing a goal shouldn’t mean sacrificing a relationship or your well-being. Just because you want something, doesn’t mean you have to have it RIGHT NOW. Sometimes, you have to adjust your strategy. Sometimes you have to think with your brain and not your heart. I shed a small tear listening to “Wide Awake” by Katy Perry. It was a tear of relief. Those do exist.*******

*******What a beautiful song and awesome video!!! I first heard “God’s Not Dead” by the Newsboys on the MySpace music player (I guess MySpace isn’t dead either) and I thought it was really good…then I saw the video. I actually teared up as I watched the band members and different people read messages about God being dead. I was filled with strength as I watched them all dismiss and respond to the messages. They let people know through their song and by responding to tweets, blog posts, newsfeeds and videos that God is not dead. I had to remind my boys recently that God does exist and there is no way life would be as complex as it is without a creator. When I think of the process of life from conception to death, it’s impossible for me to believe the process came from nothing. God exists and I see evidence of His existence everywhere I lay my eyes.*******
GODS NOT DEAD
by Newsboys
Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold
To see a revolution somehow
Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold
To bring a revolution somehow
Now I’m lost in Your freedom
And this world I’ll overcome
My God’s not dead
He’s surely alive
He’s living on the inside
Roaring like a lion [x2]
Roaring
He’s roaring roaring like a lion
Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is dead I need resurrection somehow
Now I’m lost in Your freedom
And this world I’ll overcome
My God’s not dead
He’s surely alive
He’s living on the inside
Roaring like a lion [x2]
Roaring
He’s roaring
He’s roaring like a lion
He’s Roaring
He’s roaring
Let heaven roar and fire fall
Come shake the ground
With the sounds of revival [x3]
My God’s not dead
He’s surely alive
He’s living on the inside
Roaring like a lion [x4
He's Roaring
He's roaring
He's roaring like a lion [x2]

I’m Stronger Now
*******No matter what you are going through, or how tumultuous it is, there is a reason for it — to make you stronger. I can attest to this fact because I have endured some circumstances that I never thought I would make it through. But, guess what? I did. And I’m stronger because of those experiences. Remember to always step outside of the situation and look at it from the outside — closely. Look for the opportunities to learn, grow and change. One or all of these lessons will be present in every situation you have and will experience. Another way to look at your situation is as an experience. You and the people involved MUST go through this experience. It is also quite possible you may need to use your experience to help others in the future. So, whatever your issue, embrace it and accept the lesson being presented to you.*******
Where Have You Been
Rihanna and Chris Brown concert. Brisbane Entertainment Centre. November 1st 2008 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
*******I like Rihanna‘s new song, “Where Have You Been”, and I like the smooth African dances even more. I even had a little flashback of “Coming To America” tee-hee.

“Where Have You Been”
by Rihanna
[Rihanna]
I’ve been everywhere, man
Looking for someone
Someone who can please me
Love me all night long
I’ve been everywhere, man
Looking for you babe
Looking for you babe
Searching for you babe
Where have you been
Cause I never see you out
Are you hiding from me, yeah?
Somewhere in the crowd
[Hook]
Where have you been,
All my life, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
[Beat Break]
[Rihanna]
I’ve been everywhere, man
Looking for someone
Someone who can please me
Love me all night long
I’ve been everywhere, man
Looking for you babe
Looking for you babe
Searching for you babe
Where have you been
Cause I never see you out
Are you hiding from me, yeah?
Somewhere in the crowd
[Hook]
Where have you been,
All my life, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
[Beat Break]
Where have you been, all my life
[Bridge]
You can have me all you want
Any way, any day
To show me where you are tonight
[Outro]
I’ve been everywhere, man
Looking for someone
Someone who can please me
Love me all night long
I’ve been everywhere, man
Looking for you babe
Looking for you babe
Searching for you babe

Quitters Anonymous
“If we defend our habits, we have no intentions of quitting them.” – Author Unknown
“I have no idea how many times I’ve said, “I’m overweight and don’t exercise because…” I’m tired of excusing my battle with my weight with a million reasons why I haven’t exercised. I usually either say it’s because I don’t have time or I’m tired. Poor excuses. I need to make time and drink a cup of good ol’ java. I’m admittedly not a morning person, but I know when I do exercise in the morning, I have a much better day because it makes me feel good mentally and physically. When I workout in the morning, I get it out of the way and it simply feels good to have slightly sore muscles. I hit snooze 1.2 million times this morning and I cannot afford to do the same tomorrow if I really want my nice body back. I miss it…terribly. So, I will do P90x when I get home and wake up like a person with some good sense in the morning and continue on my crusade. What bad habit are you going to stop making excuses for?*******
